Job Title: Timekeeper
Job Summary:
The Timekeeper is responsible for overseeing both exempt and non-exempt timekeeping processes for an entire department or work unit. This role ensures accurate time tracking and compliance with company policies and procedures. Prior to starting, timekeepers receive specialized training on timekeeping processes, unit-specific non-exempt systems, and the CalTime platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely follow-up on missing supervisor approvals.
- Review and verify timecards submitted by supervisors in assigned areas.
- Process manual timekeeping actions, including specific leave codes and adjustments.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in timekeeping or related administrative functions.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Familiarity with timekeeping software systems and policies, including CalTime, is preferred.
