DevOps team. Participants will receive professional development, network with executives and senior leaders across different business units, and hands-on learning while creating meaningful work.
About the Roadways Recent Graduate Program:
Over the program, participants receive tools and resources for their growth and development that will help them prepare for the current and future workforce, including:
- Understanding how to align business strategy with key objectives and initiatives
- Using behavioral and communication tools to enhance their personal image
- Demonstrating flexibility, agility, and the ability to respond effectively to change
- Cultivating relationships to increase collaboration and build trust
What You’ll Do
- Attend weekly operational and strategic insight sessions with senior leaders
- Attend learning and development sessions to further enhance your leadership skills
- Network with executives and senior leaders across different business units
- Participate in team building and volunteer events
- Participate in job shadowing/hands-on activities
- Develop advanced software applications
- Develop design skills.
- Knowledge of Object Oriented languages (e.g., Angular, C#, VB.NET, Java), Declarative Languages (e.g., SQL), and Scripting languages (JavaScript/Typescript).
- Knowledge of Frameworks (.NET, .NETCORE)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to review, analyze and resolve application issues as needed.
- Become a multi-skilled team member able to contribute to a variety of tasks including requirements analysis, coding using Test Driven Development techniques and paired programing, and regression testing.
- Collaborate with team members on the design and implementation of new functionalities on the different platforms.
- Consult with other team members and implements solutions in line with the departments' visions.
- Exhibit a willingness to learn and keep up to date with emerging technologies and methodologies to increase business and member value.
What You’ll Need
- Must have graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree within the last 12 months from an accredited University or College with an emphasis on computer science or technology
- Experience with planning tools such as Jira.
- Proficiency in building Mulesoft API’s
- Familiarity with build automation and deployment tools such as Jenkins and Monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk and SCOM.
- Prior experience in CRM software development a plus
Eligibility:
- Must commit to the entirety of the 12-month program; November 2024 through October 2025
- Must commit to working full time, 40 hours per week
The starting pay range for this position is:
$31.76 - $42.34
Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
