Description
We are in search of a Senior SQL Developer to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida. Operating within the Real Estate & Property industry, this role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. The Senior SQL Developer will play a pivotal role in our technology and business systems, building and maintaining robust SQL databases, and providing data-driven solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement transformations and calculations from raw data using advanced analytic tools such as SQL programming, Power Query, Power BI, C#, Visual Studio, ETL development, Azure, Advanced Excel and VB for Microsoft Office Products.
- Perform intricate financial calculations including interest rate, amortization, and participation allocation.
- Analyze and design changes for both existing and new projects, focusing on the implementation of custom Finance Management and Control reporting applications.
- Contribute to strategic and support projects by providing technical reviews, guidance, and best practices to team members on various topics on development and project matters.
- Develop and implement QC methods and safeguards to ensure data integrity.
- Understand complex credit structures, loan documents, and valuation to provide accurate and comprehensive financial analysis.
- Interface with clients and other third parties, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Track component obsolescence and plan for upgrades to ensure the systems stay current and efficient.
- Develop project deliverables including written reports and data file presentations.
- Proactively propose technical solutions and improvements, based on a thorough analysis of various options.
- Prepare technical deliveries, plan deployment strategies, and support implementation.
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in Cloud Technologies
- Proven experience in Database and Database Object management
- Familiarity with EO/IR systems
- Knowledge and experience with Informatica
- Experience in AB Testing
- Strong understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) and ability to generate Business Requirement Document
- Ability to Create Dashboards for data visualization
- Experience in Data Warehousing
- Strong command of Excel Formulas and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to handle Financial Reporting tasks
- Experience in Database Development
- Knowledge of Power Query
- Experience in ETL - Extract Transform Load process
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong understanding of the Real Estate & Property industry.
