Job Description
Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa’s network clients, including financial service institutions and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, Visa Consulting and Analytics solves our clients’ biggest strategic problems.
The North American (NA) Digital Performance consulting Practice within VCA provides consulting solutions and services for Visa’s largest issuers in Canada and US. We genuinely love digital analytics and push the boundaries on how we continuously reimagine solutions for our clients.
The Digital team is hiring an Analyst to join our consulting practice. The analyst will play a key role in executing high impact projects for Visa’s clients in the NA region. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker that seeks to drive innovation through data-driven analysis, carries a disruptor mindset, and can create impactful presentations.
Potential engagements could include digital acquisition strategies, customer targeting, persona and segmentation analysis/creation, profit optimization, SEO, SEM, social media, MarTech stack enablement, cloud activation, and data pipeline automation. Specific responsibilities include:
- Proactively engage with Visa internal teams in regular strategic & planning discussions
- Execute consulting initiatives and contribute to closing engagement by identifying potential opportunities with clients
- Develop frameworks, approaches, solutions and recommendations that effectively and efficiently address the most impactful opportunities and challenges
- Build solutions and actionable insights that will help clients to grow their portfolios and customer engagement in their core business
- Produce insights, analysis and recommendations to improve client performance, boost growth, drive understanding of client issues and provide strategic guidance for client priorities across the verticals and segments
- Manipulate and analyze large data sets (industry and Visa) to uncover insights and develop recommendations for clients
- Build new scalable solutions, toolkits, best practice documents and consulting approach that can be applied across VCA practices
- Incumbents applying for the role should be self-motivated, highly energized, detail-oriented individuals who will deliver strategic thought leadership, problem diagnostics and high impact solutions to clients support the growth and performance. Candidates must be able to develop enduring, strategic relationships with internal and external clients and across the Visa organization.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 1 year of work experience with an advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in SQL and Python (or equivalent tools) for effective data manipulation and analysis
- Self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently
- Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, able to work effectively in matrixed organization
- Outstanding storytelling & presentation skills
- Experience with web analytics tools (GA4, Adobe, etc.)
- Experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Tools
- Relevant experience at digital agency or consulting firm
- Technology mindset, curious, up to date with digital trends and applications
- Experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance with a focus on impacting ROI
- Knowledge of banking operations and payment schemes, including familiarity with products and services, business systems, marketing initiatives, and card issuance
