We have been retained by our client in Houston seeking to hire a Technical Lead on a regular full-time, direct-hire basis working onsite in Houston. Embrace this challenging and rewarding role and be responsible for leading a team of .NET software engineers and managing stakeholders including gathering, analyzing, and documenting the requirements from stakeholders and the existing code and use both to define technical requirements that meet the objectives including sizing estimates and solving complex .NET design and code problems. You will play an integral role in ensuring coordination and collaboration of development teams in the continuous improvement of our client’s large ecommerce portal, and associated backend code executing a wide range of complex business processes. Your duties will also include managing product backlog and prioritizing deliverables to provide best value. This technical position will require the reading and writing of C# .Net code as well as leading a team of developers.
Responsibilitie
- sCreate and maintain a product backlog reflecting value and prioritize the technical project work items for the .NET software engineering team
- .Analyze code and business requirements for the development of enhancements and documentation
- .Deliver technical designs, estimates of development time, and plan individual deliverable work
- .Distill roadmaps into requirements and then prioritize sprints with the help of the engineering team
- .Read and write C# .Net code
- .Work with product engineering leadership to prioritize enhancements and release
- sProvide quality assurance (QA) review of non-code developer’s deliverables (i.e., design documents, test plans.
- )Collaborate with QA team to support test plans and execution
- .Acquire and maintain system and business knowledge needed to support both end users and other internal or external technical teams
- .Work directly with team members and business analysts to understand new/changing business requirements and functional enhancements as requested. This includes delivering high-value technical solutions in support of changing business requirements and initiatives
- .Manages an enhancement request process to identify work of high value
- .Conveys the goals and requirements for enhancements and new development and works with Business Analysts to assist with the elaboration of the user stories and requirements to ensure proper adoption of standards

The successful candidate will meet the following qualificatio
- ns10+ years of experience working with .NET software application development teams and business partner
- s.10+ years of experience in Information Technology specific to application development experience, including .NET / C
- #.2+ years of Product Owner / Business Analyst experience is a plu
- s.Experience driving adoption of public APIs (preferably .NET C# REST APIs) for use by other developers on numerous team
- s.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional written and verbal communication skill
- s.Ability to manage relationships with team members as well as inter team relationship
- s.Be comfortable with thinking in multiple layers of abstraction when dealing with critical concerns that have regulatory implications in the oil and gas industry, i.
- e.Ability to pick up on technical concepts quickly and can learn new skills and knowledg
- e.Proficiency in managing application backlog using tools like Azure DevOps, Team Foundation Server, TFS or Jir
