We are seeking an IT Project Manager (PM) that can manage timelines and complete the delivery of Agile and Waterfall projects within ServiceNow and/or our chosen Project Management Tool. They should have a high level of written and verbal communication skills. They will be responsible for leading large project / stakeholder meetings and must produce a variety of project reports, and communication documents. They will oversee projects owned by the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) Section of ITD. For example: new module/process implementations (CMDB, HRSD, HAM / SAM, PPM, Gartner Projects, Virtual Agent (CSM/Technology Service Portal) etc. in ServiceNow. In addition to managing OnBase, APEX, or .Net technology platform projects.
Duties
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables through templates used by IIO (County).
- Develop project plans, including timelines and resource requirements (utilizing PPM and IIO Checklists and documents).
- Obtain necessary approvals and secure project resources.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Coordinate meetings with customers, developers, and stakeholder as required.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks that may arise.
- Provide project status reports on a weekly basis
- Identify and document potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proactively manage risks to minimize impact on project outcomes.
- Ensure that the implemented project/module meets quality standards and user requirements.
- Conduct regular reviews and testing to validate the functionality of new project features
- Assist with any additional project documentation
Experience
- Must have Resource Planning experience with multiple enterprise IT projects
- 3+ Years of IT Project Management Experience
- 3+ Years of experience Microsoft outlook, word, excel, etc.
- 2+ Years of experience managing UAT sessions
- ServiceNow PPM or other project tracking software preferred
- High level IT and Technical experience preferred
- Proficient in the use of ServiceNow PPM module preferred
Qualifications
- PMI Certified Preferred
- ITIL Certified Preferred
