Role:
Assist Project Managers in managing subcontractors and construction activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct subcontractor and craft activities, ensuring alignment with engineering deliverables, tools, and materials.
- Maintain records of subcontractor and craft training in safety, environmental, quality, and procedural standards.
- Monitor material use for efficiency and ensure work meets quality requirements.
- Support Project Managers in managing contractor activities and coordinating with engineering and contracts administration.
- Develop and monitor execution schedules, manpower needs, and productivity.
- Contribute to subcontract scope of work, construction plans, and field change management.
- Ensure construction compliance with design and quality standards.
- Coordinate field engineering, information handling, and project controls.
- Promote and uphold safety culture, adhering to Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
- Conduct safety audits and advance reporting as required.
Qualifications:
- CET or EIT certification.
- Effective communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
- Technical knowledge relevant to the role.
- Familiarity with local, provincial, and national statutes and guidelines.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
- Proficiency in relevant computer programs and applications.
