Client Onboarding and Compliance Specialist
Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid - 3 days/week)
Duration: 5-Months
Pay Rate: Up to $35/hour W2 (Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, LTD Insurance)
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Client Onboarding and Compliance Specialist to support our client with client onboarding, account opening, and entitlements processes. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal/external clients to ensure seamless and compliant onboarding. Your responsibilities will include due diligence, regulatory disclosures, and maintaining accurate client profiles, while coordinating with multiple departments such as billing, operations, and sales.
Key Responsibilities of Client Onboarding and Compliance Specialist:
- Conduct due diligence on potential new clients to determine the appropriate level of information required for onboarding.
- Work with internal stakeholders to complete client account setup and entitlements, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Liaise with billing, operations, and other relevant areas to ensure client profiles are completed and maintained accurately.
- Review submitted client information for accuracy and ensure timely processing by support teams.
- Utilize internal systems to process client onboarding and ensure required regulatory disclosures are met.
- Assist with annual client reviews, maintaining compliance with ongoing regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with various support teams to track, prioritize, and complete tasks within set deadlines.
- Escalate issues as needed to senior management to ensure timelines are met and processes are followed correctly.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Corporate Banking, with a focus on client onboarding and account opening processes is preferred. Applicants from other financial services-related compliance roles who are eager to apply their skills in client onboarding and account management will also be considered.
- Knowledge of Trust products is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also functioning well in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
