Job Title: Administrative Technician
Duration: 1 year contract to hire

Job Overview: Our client is seeking an Administrative Technician to support renewable energy project development. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting project engineering teams with the development of scopes of work, purchase requisitions, change orders, task tracking, and process improvements. Employees in this role support key project stakeholders by managing support tasks critical to the successful delivery of renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist project engineering teams in developing scopes of work.
- Prepare and manage purchase requisitions and change orders.
- Track tasks and ensure timely completion.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Provide administrative support to ensure project milestones are met.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership and project management abilities.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Minimum of 0 years experience required; however, engineering internship experience prior to graduation is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering is preferred (e.g., civil, electrical, mechanical, chemical, etc.).
- Preferred experience in engineering or project management on utility-scale solar projects.
Experience in the following fields may also be considered:
- DG/commercial solar
- Other technologies in the power industry (wind, BESS, combined cycle, nuclear, hydrogen, substation, transmission, etc.)
- Strong candidates with experience outside of the power industry (aerospace, civil/stormwater, etc.)
