Our client, a fortune 500 global IT client is seeking a Support Engineer to join their team.
Job Title: Support Engineer
Location: Remote (Preferably near Las Colinas, Redmond, or Fargo)
Pay Range: $32-35/hr W2
What’s the Job?
- Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is to support Cosmos DB. It's a no SQL database/document database. So, this team is the backend of things like open AI ChatGPT, copilot, etc. and have customers (Walmart, adobe, etc.) that use their database in the background of their applications.
- Key projects: This role is not project based but tis customer support CSS. So, it will include customer facing support.
- Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 10% internal meetings, 90% customer facing tasks (taking customer tickets in queue, etc.)
What’s Needed?
- Minimum 2+ (if they have a degree), 3+ (if they do not have a degree) years experience with with Cosmos DB, SQL, No-SQL, Mongo, Casandra. Need to have at least one of those to be considered.
- Minimum 2+ (if they have a degree), 3+ (if they do not have a degree) years experience with customer-facing or support role. Specifically in technical escalation support, product support, developer support, IT DevOps, etc.
- Minimum 2+ (if they have a degree), 3+ (if they do not have a degree) years experience with understanding of Cloud services (Preferably Azure), (Experience with other cloud service like AWS is also a plus)
- Minimum 2+ (if they have a degree), 3+ (if they do not have a degree) years experience with understanding Python, R, REST concepts, .NET, Java, JavaScript, Scala, C/C++ , debugging, etc
