Sr. Project Manager - Manhattan WMS
Optomi, in partnership with an industry leading pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to play a key role in our supply chain transformation project, specifically focusing on the implementation and upgrade of Manhattan software across our global facilities. This role requires a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with Manhattan WMS experience, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams in a PMO environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, execution, vendor management, financial oversight, and ensuring successful delivery of our Manhattan implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary leader and Program/Project Manager for the global Manhattan software implementation and upgrade, coordinating across multiple sites and ensuring adherence to project timelines and objectives.
- Manage all aspects of project delivery, including baselining, risk management, change management, and status updates. Utilize tools such as Clarity and Jira for tracking progress.
- Develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams and provide regular project updates to leadership. Showcase the value of PMO processes to teams transitioning into this environment.
- Manage project budgets, track financials, and provide detailed reports on financial status and projections.
- Collaborate with Manhattan and other vendors, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Provide clear and concise project updates, including status reports, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders and leadership teams.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing large-scale Manhattan software implementations, specifically in supply chain and warehouse environments.
- Proven expertise in Manhattan software and a track record of successful implementation across multiple sites.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
- Strong skills in budget management, financial tracking, and reporting.
- Proficiency in Clarity, Jira, and other project management tools. Skilled in risk management, status updates, and change management processes.
- Experience working with and managing third-party vendors, particularly within the technology and supply chain sectors.
- Experience working in a PMO environment and transitioning teams into PMO processes.
- Experience with global software rollouts, specifically software upgrades.
