Description
We are in search of a Call Service Representative to join our team in the non-profit sector in San Fernando, California. As a Call Service Representative, you will be tasked with handling a variety of customer service duties such as inbound and outbound calls, text messages, emails, and various outreach campaigns. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, text messages, and emails in a customer service setting
- Actively participate in multiple outreach campaigns and achieve a high rate of success in reaching individuals
- Utilize a script-based dialogue to engage customers in starting and completing health and social assessments
- Maintain broad knowledge of motivational interviewing and use it to convince customers of the importance of designated outreach
- Greet customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner
- Listen attentively to customer motivations and concerns, demonstrating empathy while maximizing the opportunity to build rapport
- Clarify customer motivations and requirements; probe for and confirm understanding of motivations, requirements, or concerns
- Prepare and complete accurate data entry, updating customer files in real-time
- Communicate effectively with individuals and teams to ensure high quality and timely expedition of customer needs
- Contribute ideas on ways to resolve problems to better serve the customer and/or improve productivity
- Provide answers and/or advice to customers based on their requirements and customer profile.
Requirements
- Must have experience in a call center environment
- Proficient in handling both inbound and outbound calls
- Prior experience in call center customer service is essential
- Excellent customer service skills are required
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Must possess good problem-solving skills
- Basic computer proficiency is needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good organizational and multitasking skills are required
- Must be able to work in a team and independently
- Knowledge of the non-profit industry is a plus
- Must adhere to the company's policies and procedures.
