Job description
Move-N Software, a twenty-eight-plus-year senior housing industry leader, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Level .NET Full Stack Developer Supervisor to lead and manage our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of complex software applications, ensuring the highest standards of code quality and efficiency, and mentoring a team of developers. You will also play a key role in strategic planning and project management, working closely with the team and customers to deliver innovative solutions that meet business objectives.
Responsibilities
· Lead, mentor, and manage a team of full stack developers, providing guidance on best practices, coding standards, and professional development.
· Effectively assign personnel to various projects and direct their activities; review and evaluate their work.
· Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
· Design and implement solutions following industry best practices and design patterns utilizing .NET 4.0 and higher as well as C#.
· Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle of software projects, including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.
· Work closely with project managers, owners, and other team members to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
· Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
· Ability to multitask in order to achieve various customer needs.
· Must be capable of leading and supervising enterprise level projects, with proven expertise and experience in this capacity.
· Confer with and advise team members on administrative policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities, and methods.
· Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
· Facilitate meetings and discussions to gather requirements, provide updates, and review project progress.
· Participate & contribute in vendor product evaluation process.
Requirements
· 7+ years of professional experience developing .NET applications.
· 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role, with proven ability to manage and mentor development teams.
· BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related Software Engineering Field preferred.
· Strong troubleshooting skills – applicant must be able to determine the causes of complex problems and recommend practical and effective solutions.
· Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
· Experience with .NET 4.0 and higher.
· Experience developing with C# a must.
· Experience developing ASP.NET, MVC and LINQ to Objects applications a must.
· Experience with Entity Framework including database-first and code-first.
· Experience with HTML and CSS.
· Experience with CI/CD a must.
· Experience with GIT or other version control software a must.
· Working knowledge of Azure Cloud Services.
· SQL Server database development experience: stored procedures, views, etc.
· Experience designing and implementing solutions following industry best practices and design patterns.
· Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle.
· Experience developing unit tests, integration tests, and using mocking frameworks.
· Must be able to work on-site in office.
