Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
Sr. Engineer, DevOps & Digital Product Reliability, who will be at the forefront of driving efficiency, automation, and reliability across our digital products and systems by facilitating collaboration between Digital development (Dev) and operations (Ops) teams. Your expertise will be critical to orchestrate seamless Digital product delivery, enhance system performance, and foster collaboration between Rheems development and operations teams.

Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a robust DevOps strategy aligned with Rheems Digital Product strategy and transformation objectives.
- Establish a culture of continuous improvement, agility and collaboration
- Oversee the design, provisioning, and management of cloud infrastructure, containers, and other technologies needed for application deployment and scaling.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of applications by implementing best practices for monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Lead efforts to automate manual tasks and streamline operations using infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management tools.
- Lead efforts to monitor and optimize system performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks, latency issues, and other performance-related challenges.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure that reliability considerations are integrated into the software development lifecycle.
- Implement post-incident reviews and drive improvements based on lessons learned.
- Drive the implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, tests, and deployments.
- Work with development teams to integrate automated testing and code review processes to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Regularly assess the effectiveness of DevOps practices, driving continuous improvement through data-driven insights and feedback loops.
- Collaborate with security teams to integrate security practices into the DevOps and SRE processes, ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices.
- Implement security measures such as access controls, encryption, and vulnerability management.
- Define and implement incident response processes, including escalation paths, communication plans, and post-incident analysis.
- Lead incident response efforts, ensuring rapid resolution and minimizing the impact on users and business operations.
POSITION KPIs
- Deployment Frequency – Drive frequency of deployments and new features, will retaining systems stability.
- Deployment Time – Measure the time taken to roll out new deployments, will retaining code quality
- Mean Time to Resolution – Focus on lowering mean time to resolution, effectively managing incidents.
- Code Quality – Track the occurrence of errors/defects promoted to production
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a role within DevOps, software development or IT ops
- 5+ years of experience with at least one of the following Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure, others
- Minimum 3 years of prior experience serving as a Sr. Engineer of Dev Ops
- Deep understanding of DevOps principles, practices and methodologies with hands on experience in implementing DevOps tools and technologies
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage
