Talent Acquisition Coordinator
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the home services industry. This full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to manage the full recruitment process, from sourcing and attracting top talent to interviewing and securing exceptional hires. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong multitasking skills, and excels in both individual and team settings. This position requires in-office attendance, 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and participate in various recruitment projects, both ongoing and special initiatives.
- Collaborate on recruitment strategies, including preparing materials and posting job listings to relevant platforms.
- Source candidates through various channels such as databases and social media.
- Review resumes and applications, conducting interviews using structured techniques to identify top candidates.
- Communicate effectively with candidates via phone, email, and text, providing timely updates and scheduling interviews.
- Organize virtual interviews and ensure candidates have all necessary details and reminders.
- Coordinate second-round and final interviews, managing schedules to avoid conflicts.
- Support urgent recruitment needs with a “hands-on” approach during peak times.
- Assist regional managers with recruiting projects, including ATS implementation and vendor research.
- Handle background checks, reference checks, and other pre-employment requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Evaluate candidate skills, experience, and potential, applying recruitment best practices.
- Provide clear and detailed recruitment reports for team review.
- Foster strong relationships with candidates, promoting the company as a desirable place to work.
Additional Duties:
- Assist with training material preparation, trainee scheduling, and program coordination.
- Coordinate special events such as trainee graduation and respirator fittings.
- Prepare and manage sign-in sheets, grading, and progress tracking during training.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting (either in-house or agency).
- Expertise in interview techniques and selection processes, including phone, video, and reference checks.
- Strong knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Candidate Management Systems (CMS), and recruiting software.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required; college education preferred.
- 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a human resources or recruiting environment.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and data entry.
