This company teaches safe, fun, and professional surf lessons taught by passionate and certified surf coaches.
As a Virtual Assistant, you will be responsible for managing the administrative and operational aspects of the surf school. You will coordinate with instructors to ensure classes run smoothly, assist clients with questions, and handle various tasks to keep the school organized. Additionally, you will assist with customer service inquiries and help with simple marketing tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, a customer-first attitude, and a basic understanding of marketing.
Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Ensure the smooth running of daily operations by coordinating with surf instructors, managing class schedules, and confirming attendance.
- Client Coordination: Handle client sign-ups, answer inquiries, and ensure all clients receive excellent service from their first interaction to post-lesson follow-up.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage and organize documents, track bookings, and handle various administrative tasks to ensure the school runs efficiently.
- Customer Service: Respond to client questions and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Marketing Support: Assist with basic marketing tasks, including posting content on social media, monitoring engagement, and contributing to content planning.
- Operations Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements to operational processes to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the surf school.
- Teacher Coordination: Ensure that surf instructors are prepared and on time for their classes, providing them with the necessary information and updates.
Requirements
- 2+ years of previous experience as a virtual assistant, administrative assistant, or in customer service.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach.
- Basic marketing skills, including experience with social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and others.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using tools such as email, scheduling software, and CRM systems.
- Passion for surfing or interest in the surf industry is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and be proactive in managing tasks.
