Job Overview:
Martin Electric is currently seeking a self-motivated Assistant Project Manager who is excited about the opportunity to work on a high-performing team – energizing some of the most exciting projects in our area. As a Assistant Project Manager, your primary focus will be to support the field execution team with proper information and document control – specifically, scope, schedule, and budget. The successful candidate will require independent judgement to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment.
Job Duties:
Interpret plans and specifications and provide abstracts to field execution teamsDevelop, submit and track project submittals & RFI’sMaintain equipment tracking logs and communicate status to teams routinelyMaintain organized project files with all up-to-date information that can be easily accessed by project field teamsPrepare and track construction schedules and requests updates as schedule changesImplement change orders to project when required & track statusUse computer aided design technologies and modeling software to develop designs, sketches, drawingsPrepare monthly budgeting & forecasting reports
Qualifications:
Currently a Assistant Project Manager/Project Engineer in the electrical or construction field.Has a bachelor’s degree or is pursuing in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering or related field.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and or willing to learn electrical/construction management softwares.Experienced in Revit & AutoCAD (Preferred)Experience in Bluebeam (Preferred)Experience in Procore (Preferred)
