Key Responsibilities
- Perform administrative and clerical tasks, including word processing, report generation, scheduling, and meeting coordination to ensure timely departmental activities.
- Handle confidential material and manage phone calls and incoming mail, directing them appropriately.
- Coordinate department correspondence, including travel arrangements and work-related commitments for management.
- Answer calls and respond to inquiries related to travel and other administrative matters.
- Enter information into databases, produce statistical reports, and assist with presentations.
- Research and compile materials for presentations and meetings, distributing documents as needed.
- Maintain schedules for department managers and staff using electronic schedulers and calendars.
- Establish and manage filing systems for internal and external correspondence, records, and reports.
- Process confidential correspondence and prepare reports, proposals, and other deliverables as requested.
- Register personnel for conferences and classes, coordinate travel arrangements, and ensure travel details are accurate.
Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in a departmental assistant role.
- Familiarity with departmental goals, practices, and procedures.
- Proficiency in grammar and coordination of benefits for clients.
- Ability to search insurance websites, interact with customer service representatives, and navigate IVR systems to obtain insurance data.
What To Expect
- This is a remote position open to candidates in the USA, with a preference for those in the Eastern and Central Time Zones.
- The salary range for this role is \(30,500 - \)43,500 per year, and actual base pay may vary based on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
