UI Developer to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$120k – $140k (DOE)
Position Overview
The UI Developer will join a dynamic team that will develop and enhance user interfaces using AngularJS. This is a heavy coding role for an experienced UI Developer in the latest version of Angular.
Responsibilities Of The UI Developer
- Develop, enhance, and maintain user interfaces using AngularJS.
- Write clean, modular, and maintainable code using HTML, CSS (including preprocessors like SASS/LESS), and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with UX/UI Designers to implement design specifications accurately.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Implement and maintain automated testing for the UI components.
Qualifications For The UI Developer
- 5 – 8 years of experience working as a UI Developer.
- Must have JavaScript Frameworks: Expertise in AngularJS.
- Knowledge of Angular (latest versions) is a must.
- HTML/CSS: Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.
- JavaScript: Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
- Experience with SASS or LESS.
- Version Control: Proficient in using Git and GitHub/GitLab.
- Package Managers: Familiarity with npm or Yarn.
- Task Runners/Bundlers: Experience with Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.
- Responsive Design: Strong understanding of responsive web design principles and techniques.
- APIs: Experience with RESTful services and integrating with backend APIs.
- Agile/Scrum: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Cross-Browser Compatibility: In-depth knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Performance Optimization: Techniques for optimizing front-end performance.
- CI/CD: Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Cloud: Knowledge of Azure/AWS Cloud.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
