Join our dynamic team as a Social Media Strategist and play a crucial role in developing and implementing innovative social media strategies. You’ll collaborate with divisional leaders, agency owners, social media administrators, and field agents to ensure alignment with best practices. Your effective communication skills will help educate and guide individuals at various experience levels, from agents to business owners.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to travel across the country to present and teach insurance professionals on optimizing their social media usage. You’ll represent our brand by emphasizing consistency and the value of recommended practices set forth by Sales and Marketing leadership, as well as managing essential marketing assets like Google Business listings, Birdeye profiles, and microsites.
This is a remote position, providing the flexibility to work from home.
Responsibilities
- Travel nationwide to deliver presentations on effective social media strategies and provide event support.
- Occasionally travel internationally for major company events to offer assistance.
- Serve as a positive culture ambassador, enhancing our brand reputation and engagement.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to coordinate social media strategies at the corporate, agency, and individual levels.
- Present brand standards and guidelines for Google Business listings, Birdeye profiles, microsites, and social media pages.
- Stay informed about the latest social media content requirements and trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social media, graphic design, digital marketing, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of professional experience in social media design or account management.
- Passion for social media and digital marketing.
- Enjoyment of frequent travel and public speaking.
- Strong communication skills with management and team members.
- Enthusiasm and initiative for new projects.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple assignments.
- Strong proofreading and writing skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere) and video editing is a plus.
- Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Sprout) and online reputation platforms (e.g., Birdeye, Talkwalker, Google My Business) is a plus.
