Robert Half has an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk opportunity in a stimulating work environment with a team of highly skilled professionals. In this position, you will be required to manage all general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department. You will work closely and report to the Accounting Manager. The candidate will primarily focus on matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Ceres, California area and will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire position.
Your responsibilities
- Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling
- Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department
- Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed
- Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail
- Execute full-cycle A/P
- Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
- Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned
