The Opportunity:
We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented entry-level Data Entry Specialist. This role can be performed remotely or in our office. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and entering data in databases and maintaining accurate records of valuable company information. This position requires a look for detail and comfort with technology, as well as the ability to work in a team and meet daily data entry quotas.
Job Responsibilities:
- Compile, verify accuracy and sort information to prepare source data for computer entry
- Enter customer and account data from source documents within time limits
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output
- Keep information confidential and comply with data integrity and security policies
- Prepare reports as needed and regularly back up data
Desired Qualifications:
- A High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Proficient typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Familiarity with MS Office and data programs
- Good communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exhibit a high level of professionalism
Nice-To-Haves:
- Previous experience in data entry or a related field
- Experience with CRM systems
- Understanding of data confidentiality principles
- Capability to work efficiently under pressure
