As a Principal Business Analyst in the financial realm, you will play a key role in leveraging technology to enhance our financial processes and support our mission to improve the well-being of our community’s most vulnerable members.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Process Management: Design, develop, and manage complex business processes, offering recommendations to enhance and support business activities.
- Financial Analysis: Collect and analyze financial data across various departments, identify variances, draw conclusions, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Project Management: Handle projects of varying complexity, focusing on operational process improvements and contract assessments.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with finance, contract teams, and other stakeholders to review organizational spend and assess options.
- Contract Review: Analyze contracts and financial commitments to understand obligations, risks, and opportunities.
- Requirements Documentation: Document business requirements and processes, creating conceptual data models and effectively communicating requirements.
- Communication: Facilitate communication regarding financial and contractual obligations.
- Leadership: Lead projects and offer guidance on system development to meet client needs, while mentoring less experienced team members.
- Meeting Coordination: Organize and lead meetings to gather requirements and explore solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Experience: At least 12 years in financial analysis, business process management, or business analysis. Experience with budgets, forecasting, and business process re-engineering is essential.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel and business solutions software
- Strong financial acumen
- Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact well with customers and team members
- Ability to work independently while being open to feedback and collaboration
What To Expect
- Remote Work: This position offers flexible remote work options from most U.S. locations.
- Hours: Support for the Eastern Time Zone with working hours from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern.
- Interview and Onboarding: Video cameras are required during all interviews and the initial week of orientation.
