Data Analyst
We are seeking a Data Analytics Consultant to join our team in supporting a diplomacy client within the Defense & Security segment. This role involves applying data analytics and automation technologies to streamline processes and enhance decision-making. The ideal candidate will assess complex processes, implement advanced analytics, engage stakeholders, and develop solutions to drive data-driven outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess complex processes to identify opportunities for advanced analytics and automation.
- Implement analytic and automation process improvements and monitor their success.
- Engage with stakeholders to present data analysis results and guide next steps.
- Analyze various data sources to uncover key insights related to program goals.
- Develop and present polished reports and briefings with analytical results and key findings.
- Collaborate with clients to define and track KPIs and performance metrics.
- Create dashboards and reports that enable data-driven decision-making at all organizational levels.
- Develop documentation and training materials to support the adoption of analytic and automation solutions.
- Continuously gather and respond to feedback to optimize solutions for client needs.
- Write data processing and validation scripts to prepare data for reporting, validate data quality, and resolve issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Active and current SECRET federal security clearance.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Three or more years of experience in data analytics, visualization, and dashboard development.
- Ability to design and deliver solutions independently and work collaboratively within a team.
- Strong consulting skills, including client needs assessment, relationship building, and initiative driving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with IT missions in the federal space.
- Advanced experience in data science techniques, regression analysis, and data mining.
- Experience with structured and unstructured data extraction from corporate databases.
- Proficiency with JIRA/Atlassian tools and ServiceNow (AppEngine or Custom Apps).
- Background in business process improvement and advising on data modernization.
Compensation:
The annual salary range for this position is $71,800 - $107,600, depending on skills, experience, security clearances, certifications, and other factors.
