Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with over 5 years of experience in project management, change management, and mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, driving change initiatives, and overseeing M&A processes. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct concurrent complex projects or larger complex projects under general direction of the head of project management following the PMO Process.
- Take projects from original concept through to final implementation and ensure effective transition to the operational phase while interfacing with all stakeholders.
- Adhere to project requirements, deliver within budget and on time, maintain quality standards, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Translate offered solutions into project plans, deliverables, and objectives and manage project team access to relevant project management tools.
- Manage customer satisfaction, commitment, and expectations, handle escalations, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Act as the initial escalation point for project issues, facilitate issue resolution and communication process through to completion.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, Account Executives, New Business, and Professional Services teams.
- Ensure project profitability by protecting margins, controlling costs, and achieving monthly billing forecasts.
- Coach and mentor team members to facilitate knowledge sharing and act as a people manager to enable project teams to meet performance objectives.
- Act as a role model, display assertiveness in client engagement, and promote project services to internal and external customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on change management and mergers and acquisitions.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
