JOB SUMMARY
The Analyst role is responsible for designing & delivering dashboards, building Excel and PowerPoint reports, insightful analytics and optimization recommendations related to media analytics, website or online experience analytics, social media, marketing analytics including Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM) evaluations and Customer Behavior Path measurement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Data Analysis
- Proficiency in summarizing large datasets using excel, data visualization, and data mining techniques to
- derive insights and trends.
- Data Visualization
- Create dashboards and PowerPoint reports to present data-driven insights to stakeholder.
- Quality Assurance
- Validate data analysis results and perform quality checks to ensure the reliability findings.
JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform extraction, validation and interpretation of data sets from multiple marketing/database platforms and perform hygiene and quality control steps.
- Leverage web and media analytic tools (Google Analytics, Adobe, DCM), customer databases, social listening tools (Sermo, Netbase, etc.), search tools, syndicated data, research & survey tools, etc. for data collection and summarization
- Support development of PPT reports and automated dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) using summarized data sets
- Create, implement and validate media (UTM) and website (GTM) tags for media and website tracking
- Provide initial commentary, findings and observations from analyzing various data sources
- Support ad hoc internal and client requests, including but not limited to GA and DCM summaries
EDUCATION
DEGREE/DIPLOMA - Bachelor’s degree
AREA OF STUDY - Marketing, Media, Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, Computer Science. Coursework in Marketing, Media and Data Analytics is strongly preferred; Statistics, Calculus, or Advanced Math is desired.
REQUIRED/PREFERRED - Preferred
EXPERIENCE
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE - 0-2 years+
AREA OF EXPERTISE - Marketing analytics or related fields such as advertising, retail marketing, product marketing, direct marketing, online marketing, loyalty marketing, etc
REQUIRED/PREFERRED - Required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Competency in Website and Media (UTM) tagging is preferred
- Competency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required
- Competency in SQL, R, Python is preferred
- Competency in dashboarding (Tableau, PowerBI, Google Data Studio, Datorama, etc.) is preferred

SALARY
$61,000 to $90,000 annually
The salary range for this position is noted within this job posting.
