Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of PeopleSoft Payroll or Time & Labor. Hands-on experience within a Texas state agency or with the CAPPS system is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct requirement analysis and gather detailed data from various stakeholders.
- Organize and lead review meetings with subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Document complex system requirements, processes, test scenarios, test scripts, and training materials.
- Perform hands-on testing and support multiple test cycles.
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a diverse team using various collaboration tools in a remote work environment.
- Estimate work efforts, set deadlines, and manage communication efficiently to meet project milestones.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on PeopleSoft HCM (implementation or upgrade projects).
- 8+ years of experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 Payroll or Time & Labor.
- 8+ years of experience in identifying requirements, and creating formal functional documents for key business stakeholders and SMEs.
- 8+ years of experience in conducting formal work sessions and functional analysis presentations.
- 8+ years of experience in performing hands-on end-to-end system integration and external interface testing.
- At least 4 years of experience with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio).
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working with a public sector organization (Federal, State, or Local Government).
- Experience working with the Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials.
- Experience with PeopleSoft HCN 9.2 Payroll or Time & Labor.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).
- Experience with SharePoint.
- Experience with Jira.
- Experience working with the Scrum framework.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
