As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing logistics, and supporting auctions. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Travel throughout Canada will be required to support on-site auction operations and client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, potential buyers, and sellers by answering incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner.
- Provide accurate information regarding auctions, services, and handle inquiries or direct calls to appropriate team members.
- Address client concerns and requests efficiently, ensuring a positive resolution and experience.
- Manage on-site logistics, including setting up auctions.
- Coordinate the removal of auction lots and verify purchases.
- Write auction descriptions, upload photos, and create promotional materials such as emails and social media posts.
- Track auction progress and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Take ownership of customer issues and follow through to resolution.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in client-facing roles with a strong focus on customer service and relationship building.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage logistics effectively and work independently.
- Previous experience in auction services or logistics coordination is an asset.
- Proven ability to resolve customer issues and deliver a positive client experience.
