Job Title: Shipping Clerk
Job Description
A Shipping Clerk is responsible for ensuring that packages are shipped correctly, timely, and within compliance of our standards and processes. Duties include accurate recordkeeping of every product order including packing product into shipping containers, printing the shipping labels, and delivery to the shipping carrier.
In this role, the successful candidate will:
- Pick, pack, label, and ship customer orders, ensuring proper packaging and labeling according to product type and shipping process.
- Obtain product orders and process them through the enterprise resource planning (ERP) QAD system, and transfer to appropriate departments.
- Audit shipments prior to packing to ensure that the product being shipped matches the purchase order.
- Accurately enter information for required shipping documentation.
- Follow department SOPs and work instructions and adhere to customer and internal standards.
- Restock inventory using a system called Kanban that prepares products for the next steps categorized by different categories including 'Requested', 'In Progress', and 'Done'.
- Input orders into the shipping software for national and international orders for carriers including FedEx, UPS, DHL, USPS, and freight shipments.
- Access and pull product orders out of the ERP system, QAD.
- Assist in maintaining material inventory standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
- Cross-train in other areas to learn Supply Chain processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

This is a new warehouse, slightly unorganized but spacious and nice. ). Needs to be open to working before and after shift.
