Title: Business Systems Analyst 5
Location: Remote – expected onsite (WA) once quarterly for trainings/meetings
Duration – 10+ months.
Typical Day in the Role
• Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is both current state and process related. the current state is just understanding how data is flowing from Systems system, what types of data, what supply chain functions use that data in terms of dependencies, what issues we have in terms of data quality, data governance and then develop solutions that help improve kind of data health for the organization as a whole. That's the process - review the systems and make sure that we use, review capabilities of the system. You would look at that across the entire supply chain from planning our different forecasts, all the way to maintenance repairs and reverse supply chain part too from sourcing, planning, building, manufacturing work with external supply.
• Key projects: Data governance, SAP integration, process improvement, how enterprise data is managed as a whole
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of
• 20-25% meetings (esp. in early phase of project)
• 35-40% documentation
• 10-15% training others – ownership compliance
• 20% collaboration – building relationships with stakeholders
Candidate Requirements
• Years of Experience Required: 10 overall years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or certifications required: bachelor’s degree is required to be eligible for this role.
• Disqualifiers: Candidates with job jumping, without any experience working from start to finish on implementation, will not be eligible for the role.
• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain project management, ERP experience and data management skills.

1. Minimum 10 years experience with strong project management experience.
2. Minimum 10 years experience with Enterprise Resource (ERP) experience – having implemented an ERP (ex SAP, Dynamics).
3. Minimum 10 years experience with Data management, workflow history, data governance.
Summary:
The main function of a Business Systems Analyst - is to perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications.
Job Responsibilities:
• Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
• Gathers requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers
• Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
• Supports one or more highly complex business processes
• Works on multiple projects as a project team member
• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred
• 10+ year’s experience required
• Basic knowledge of programming languages in order to comprehend reading code and basic functions
• Ability to create business solutions that increase competitive advantage
• Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
• Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines
• Ability to solve technical problems/ processes and understand complex details
• Ability to increase operating efficiency with produce high quality technical solutions
• A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level
• Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions.
