As an Acquisitions Associate at Homemade, you will play a critical role in identifying and acquiring off-market properties that align with our investment strategies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Source and evaluate off-market properties through various channels, including networking, market research, and lead generation.
- Build and maintain relationships with property owners, real estate agents, and industry professionals to source exclusive investment opportunities.
- Conduct thorough property evaluations, including market analysis, comparables research, and financial assessments.
- Negotiate favorable terms and prices with sellers, while maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute effective acquisition strategies based on market trends and company goals.
- Manage transaction pipeline, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all necessary documentation and paperwork.
- Represent Homemade with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to excellence in all interactions.
- Demonstrate a scrappy, resourceful approach to problem-solving, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently in a fast-paced startup environment.
Qualifications:
- Active real estate license preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in real estate acquisitions or sales.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build rapport with sellers and industry professionals.
- Proficiency in property analysis, market research, and financial evaluation.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to thrive in a performance-based compensation structure and meet targets.
