Artist Management Coordinator / Junior Manager

Compensation: $55-65K DOE, Exempt
Description
This position will be a Coordinator/Junior Manager in our Artist Management Department. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organized with an exacting attention to detail, a positive, can-do attitude with knowledge of the music industry and all the players involved. The right person for this role will be a self-starter, creative problem solver and consensus builder that thrives in a fast paced and ever changing environment where priorities can and will be revised and refocused.
Key Responsibilities (include, But Not Limited To)
- Administrative duties (including of?ce tasks such as phone coverage, maintaining a call sheet, shipping, lunches, ordering, travel
- t, expense reports and setting up team events
- Assist Day to Day Manager/Manager with artist related administrative duties such as scheduling, errands, travel planning and logistics (or in the case of Junior Manager, manage under direction from Senior Team)
- Coordinate meetings - scheduling, material preparation, set up, note taking & distribution. Ensure that agenda and attendees are appropriate for items being discussed.
- Advance and assist managers at public engagements, events and productions, helping to ensure that logistics are seamless from start to ?nish.
- Create, maintain and communicate all manager and talent tracking information and documents, databases and grids for internal use across all key teams
- Prepare and synthesize research on the changing music and media space, evolving talent and in?uencer pool
- Assist Manager and coordinate as needed on location for music video shoots, photo shoots and related events. In the case of Junior Manager - oversee this responsibility with direction from Management.
- Prepare and present updates on artist news, development and performance from all facets of the business - digital/social, label, PR etc.
- Maintain and coordinate distribution of all manager and talent tracking information/documents, databases and grids for internal department use and across all departments.
- Provide exceptional client service contingent on project / campaign needs per executive requests
- Coordinate and track all client and partner gifting with direction from management
- Travel required
Additional Responsibilities For Junior Managers
- Maintain ef?cient and proactive daily communication and information ?ow with artist
- Strategize Marketing Plans and release roll outs with input from CMO and Senior Management, coordinate implementation
- Act as key point of contact for all third parties, becoming the hub to communicate and exchange information
- Advance artist at engagements, ensuring that logistics are seamless from start to ?nish
Basic Quali?cations
- College degree or equivalent workforce experience
- 2-3 years experience in an executive assistant, coordinator or comparable talent management role within the entertainment industry
- Experience in a talent agency, talent management or production company
- Comfortable with Microsoft Of?ce, Google doc suite. Design and/ or editing skills a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills, excellent written and oral communications, and a great attitude is necessary
- Well versed and passionate about the music and entertainment industry, social media and pop culture

- Interpersonal skills are a must as the position requires building relationships with the artist’s team including booking and talent agents, publicists, assistants, stylists, glam teams, studio personnel, touring staff, producers, mixers, engineers and songwriters
- Access to Transportation and a Valid Drivers License and Driver’s Check are Required
- Position is Hybrid and will vary between of?ce, on location as required by talent and at talent’s studio located 90 miles outside of Los Angeles (varies, on average 2X week)
