About the Team:
The Global Onboarding team is responsible for designing and implementing exceptional employee onboarding experiences at scale, globally. From the moment an offer is signed through their first few months, we aim to enable success for nUbers (Uber new hires) and the people that support them.
As we’re ramping up our work and priorities, we’re seeking an experienced onboarding operations program manager to support our new hire orientation programming, as well as various hi-pri efforts/ initiatives that will unlock our build potential.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify operational efficiencies to support scale and experiential wins
- Manage new hire orientation (NHO) related tasks - e.g. attendance tracking, reporting, weekly session coordination (event tickets, room bookings, speaker management and scheduling, etc.)
- Act as primary point of contact for XFNs for NHO sessions, and resolve ad hoc issues and coverage as needed
- Support discovery and documentation of global onboarding process/logistics and experience (e.g. communications, reporting, attendance tracking, process documentation, audience inclusion, etc.)
- Build and implement processes, systems and improvements across XFN teams and stakeholders
- Partner with misc stakeholders to design structures and plans against priorities, and work with counterparts in other regional and global roles in pursuit of these initiatives
- Develop and manage updates for misc onboarding related content and comms (e.g. emails, documentation, checklists, wikis, etc.)
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years professional experience, working in corporate environments
- 2+ years of program management
- 1+ years focus on global, enterprise onboarding
- Experience working with multiple HR and L&D systems (e.g. LMS, HCMs, etc.)
- Operational excellence
- Events management
- Project management (PMP cert a plus)
- Change management
- Ability to prioritize effectively in fast-paced, autonomous environment
- Stakeholder management and relationship-building

- Background w/ employee experience, culture and community
- Experience working with data and measurement, analysis and best practices
- Comms, content & program design a plus
