The LA Raver is a free weekly newsletter and multi-channel advertising platform that delivers a comprehensive list of EDM events and underground raves in Los Angeles. Across all social media channels, The LA Raver hosts an audience of 100,000+ ravers, with 90% being in the Southern California region. The LA Raver also produces weekly to biweekly live events in Los Angeles ranging from 300-1000 attendees.
Role Description:
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Social Media Marketing Intern at The LA Raver located in Los Angeles, CA.
The Social Media Marketing Intern will be responsible for managing social media accounts, creating engaging content, implementing digital marketing strategies, and ensure consistent, on-brand communication across all platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Create engaging content for TikTok and Instagram that aligns with the brand's mission and voice.
- Filter through customer service requests, business inquires, mixtape submissions, sponsorship opportunities, etc.
- Assist with ticket giveaways, promotions, and other marketing campaigns.
- Help draft content for the weekly newsletter. Opportunity to write for newsletter if interested.
- Help support live event operations on-site.
- Perform various administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Social Media Marketing and Content Creation
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing strategies and social media analytics
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Ability to create engaging and relevant content for social media
- Knowledge of the EDM industry, particularly underground raves is a huge plus
- Weekend/Late-Night availability for event operations preferred
