Position Overview:

They are seeking highly analytical and motivated junior traders to join their esteemed team in San Francisco. This role provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with seasoned traders, quantitative researchers, and developers, gaining invaluable experience and insights into high-frequency trading. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of trading strategies, optimizing performance and driving success.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the creation, testing, and deployment of quantitative trading strategies.
Analyze extensive datasets to uncover trading opportunities and refine existing strategies.
Oversee real-time trading systems to ensure peak performance and effective risk management.
Work alongside developers to enhance trading infrastructure and tools.
Conduct research on market microstructure, trading signals, and algorithmic trading techniques.
Participate in post-trade analyses to assess strategy performance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or any hard science with a strong mathematical component. Advanced degrees are advantageous.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
Strong foundation in statistical and mathematical modeling techniques.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
Confident, personable, driven, hardworking, with great communication skills.
Strong desire to build a career in trading and a basic understanding of trading concepts.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Keen attention to detail and commitment to precision.
Previous experience in trading, finance, or related sectors is beneficial but not essential.
