Job Description
We are looking for a talented, innovative, and passionate Data Scientist to join our dynamic digital team. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze clinical and machine-generated datasets to extract actionable insights.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand data needs and offer analytical support.
- Identify ways to enhance product performance and improve patient outcomes.
- Maintain high data quality and integrity through effective data governance practices.
- Partner with IT and Digital teams to streamline and enhance data processing workflows.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data science, particularly in transplantation research.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in digital solutions, in line with the organization’s values of evidence and integrity.
Skills And Experience
- Proven experience in collaborating with both internal and external teams to successfully deliver projects.
- Proficiency in technical computing such as Python, R, MATLAB, or Julia.
- Experience with data analysis libraries like SciPy, NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, or related R packages.
- Competency in general-purpose programming such as C#, F#, Java, or Scala.
- Familiarity with the .NET framework, VS Code, and SQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with signal processing techniques and predictive analytics.
- Strong foundation in descriptive statistics and machine learning techniques.
- Preferably experienced in integrating data from third-party APIs and creating research tools like R packages or Jupyter Notebooks.
- Background in life sciences, medical devices, digital health, or predictive maintenance is desirable.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Certifications in data science or machine learning are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience in troubleshooting complex issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, reflecting a commitment to teamwork and respect.
