As our nationwide growth accelerates, our IT in Mechanicsburg, PA plays a key role in driving forward our mission of Bringing Happiness to Every Home® by evaluating, implementing, and maintaining our cloud management platforms and communication platforms and ensuring any issues or security concerns are acted upon proactively.
As an Azure Administrator II at West Shore Home®, you will contribute to this mission by reviewing the logs of these systems and conducting routine audits to ensure that user and system accounts are removed in a timely fashion. This role reports to the IT Project Manager and assists other System/Network Administrators with initiatives, integrations, Microsoft, Communications, automation platforms, and other projects as assigned.
What You’ll Contribute
In this role, you can expect to:
- Assist the team with implementations of Azure and M365 projects and SaaS platforms including, M365, Azure Infrastructure, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and ancillary systems.
- Participate in responses to security threats through endpoint management, vulnerability remediation, and other cloud platform mitigations.
- Oversee and manage file and email backup retention policies that align with organizational goals and initiatives.
- Design, present, and implement mid-tier process changes and enhancements to Azure and cloud systems.

What It Takes to Succeed

We’ll provide you with the training and tools to set you up for success, and we hope that you’ll bring:
- Minimum 3 years’ progressive experience in Microsoft Azure/M365 platforms and cloud-based backup systems with an understanding and demonstrated implement enhancements to existing application workloads to support migrations to Azure platform and services utilizing best practices.
- Identify and improve our Azure/M365 configurations, including Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, and other MS platforms for proper security, performance, and scalability in accordance with West Shore Home procedures.
- Mentor and coach junior resources, providing guidance and support to help them develop their technical skills and grow in their roles.
- Good understanding of GRC controls and methods to satisfy regulatory compliance.
