We are looking for a Cloud Solutions Architect for our State client in Austin,Tx. This is a hybrid position and candidates must be local to the Austin area.
Responsibilities:
- Creates a well-informed Microsoft M365, Power Platforms, and Azure strategy.
- Determines M365 and Power Platforms requirements by analyzing business operations, applications, and security; reviewing business objectives; and evaluating current systems.
- Obtains M365 requirements, develops and implements designs for new projects, and maintains existing designs and architectures.
- Caretaker of the low-code Power Platforms strategy, communicate and coordinate effort of CoE governance team, and ensures the Microsoft Power Platform strategy is aligned with the organizational goals.
- Administers and manages the M365 and Microsoft Power Platform per the established environmental strategy, setting up policies, managing users, managing capacity, and licensing.
- Continuously updates the CoE releases and manages the TxDOT Governance Hub for Power Platform.
- Implements corresponding M365 and Power Platform changes to support and ensures that new designs conform to standards and guidelines; are consistent, normalized, and perform as required; and are secure from unauthorized access or update.
- Reviews changes, realizing their impacts on M365 and Power Platform architecture, and ensures that the impacts are communicated to appropriate parties.
- Establishes measures to chart progress related to the completeness and quality for enterprise usage; and to improve performance.
- Communicate and collaborate in a professional and timely manner.
- Performs related work as assigned.
