Job Summary:
We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee, optimize, and administer the day-to-day operations of our Honcho Leagues experience. This critical role will drive our rapid scaling efforts, expanding leagues to new venues and growing our player base while enhancing the overall experience for Honcho League participants. Reporting directly to the COO, you'll be at the forefront of our efforts to supercharge the amateur pickleball community.
Key Responsibilities:
- League Operations: Orchestrate the planning, scheduling, and implementation of Honcho Leagues, ensuring seamless coordination of all activities
- Collaboration: Foster collaboration with internal teams and Venue Partners, establishing clear communication protocols and SLA adherence
- System Administration: Manage and optimize Honcho's league administration software platform, including configuration, setup, updates, and player communication workflows
- Process Improvement: Spearhead the continuous improvement of backend system workflows for league registration, score submissions, team management, and playoffs
- Growth Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to boost participant retention and attract new players
- Data Analysis: Create and maintain performance dashboards to analyze metrics and provide data-driven recommendations for operational enhancements
About You:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field
- Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience working in biz ops, operations management, or a related role
Skills:
- Proven ability to own, build, and optimize processes
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets/Airtable and adaptability to new software tools
- Robust project management capabilities, adept at juggling multiple initiatives

Additional:
- Location: Remote (US based) - Houston/Austin/Dallas/Los Angeles Preferred
- Type: Full-time
- Compensation: $60k - $72k per year (based on experience and qualifications).
