This is a unique opportunity for a mid-level copywriter to work in the internal marketing agency of a major financial services company. As a contractor working remotely, you’ll be involved in a wide range of interesting projects. Here’s the criteria for applicants:
- You have 5 to 7 years of experience as a copywriter in advertising, preferably with some savvy in engaging audiences on social media.
- You’re able to look at financial brands from a fresh angle.
- You know how to write safe and simple copy and you know how to write riskier copy.
- You can create concepts for brand campaigns, outdoor, digital, social, landing pages, emails—plus partnerships with professional sports teams.
- You can successfully collaborate with Designers, Art Directors, Creative Producers, and our Insights team—and understand the benefits in doing so.
- You can create advertising for consumer-facing audiences and also for our massive financial advisor network (B to B)
- You can take complex products and services and transform them into digestible, compelling language and ideas.
- You’re able to present your work to stakeholders at all levels.
- You see the bigger picture and take unexpected approaches to bringing our brand vision to life.
- You can offer productive feedback to external ad agencies.
- You’ll report to the Assistant Creative Director, Copy.

- Collaboration with a design resource and external vendors
Preferred:
- Experience client-side, not just agency
- Experience with larger corporations
