POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Marketing Coordinator to join our team. As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day execution of our marketing efforts, ensuring that activities are in line with our company’s mission and standards. The coordinator must be an organized multitasker, able to handle many diverse projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines and help the team execute.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Play a crucial role in the execution of our brand strategies, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the success and growth of WSS.
- Assist in development of ground-breaking marketing campaigns by contributing to team brainstorming, partner conversations, ideation of new brand engagements, etc.
- Research and present opportunities for increasing brand visibility amongst core demographic, through brand partners, events, talent, athletes, community partners, etc.
- Maintain strong relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure successful marketing and community campaigns.
- Maintain overall project organization for marketing efforts including planning calendar, timeline for campaigns, events, partnerships, milestones, deliverables, budgets, trackers, meeting notes, etc.
- Manage marketing campaign and creative assets approvals with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external, on all aspects of projects, including planning, gathering documents/specifications/requirements, managing/placing/process purchase orders, coordinating schedules, sending memos to stores, tracking progress of project, approvals, timelines, and budget.
- Assist with budget management, Data entry and follow up with accounting and partners for community initiatives.
- Participate in weekly team meetings to review progress and deliverables.
- Special projects assigned by manager.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Marketing Coordinator is required.
- Experience with reporting and analytics is required.
- Strong problem solving, interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Advanced written/verbal communication skills.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Demonstrate a strong ability to manage, coordinate, and deliver project deliverables/tactics to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to learn and grow.
Position Type:
Full Time, Hybrid role in Gardena, CA. Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
