As a Senior Manager of Quality Assurance for Enterprise Solutions, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our enterprise-level systems. Your responsibilities will encompass leading QA efforts across platforms like ERP, WMS, Wholesale Sales, EDI, and various system integrations. This hands-on leadership position requires a solid understanding of testing tools, automation, and best practices. You'll collaborate with various teams, including engineering, product, and portfolio management, to drive quality assurance strategies, ensuring all systems operate smoothly and reliably.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive QA framework that includes test-driven development standards, end-to-end testing, smoke testing, regression testing, and more.
- Assess and determine the most effective team structure, including the balance of in-house vs contractor roles and onshore vs offshore resources.
- Set up best practices for test automation, data creation, environment management, release readiness, change control, and production deployment validation.
- Identify and implement new tools and technologies to support the QA framework.
- Ensure the QA team meets sprint deadlines by managing team capacity and throughput.
- Continuously improve QA processes and align work with other teams for seamless operations.
- Report progress and results to senior leadership and the product/portfolio management team.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of QA efforts and proactively address areas for improvement.
- Oversee quality assurance activities for ERP, WMS, and other enterprise solutions, ensuring comprehensive testing across all integrations and edge cases.
- Work closely with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), embedding QA into the process.
- Create and maintain QA processes, including test planning, defect tracking, and reporting, while identifying areas for improvement to boost performance and reliability.
- Develop training programs for both technical teams and business users, ensuring adherence to QA best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and introduce innovative QA strategies to enhance performance.
- Lead a high-performing QA team, providing mentorship and support.
Qualifications & Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8+ years in QA management, with specific experience in enterprise solutions like ERP and WMS, particularly with Microsoft D365.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices, including API and software integration testing.
- Familiarity with business applications used in industries such as apparel or consumer packaged goods.
- Proficient in QA automation tools and technologies, with hands-on experience in tools like Selenium WebDriver and Postman.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Experience working closely with development teams and understanding the SDLC.
