Key Responsibilities
- Enter data accurately into various databases and systems from source documents, ensuring timeliness.
- Review and correct any errors or inconsistencies in the data.
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
- Update and retrieve data as requested, keeping information current.
- Perform regular backups to safeguard data.
- Organize and maintain files for efficient retrieval.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve any data entry issues.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Data Entry Clerk role or similar.
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors.
- Proficiency in data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in data management or related fields are a plus.
