Position Overview:
As a Product Manager in the digital e-commerce space, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to drive the development and execution of new product features and enhancements across our e-commerce platforms. Your goal is to ensure a best-in-class online shopping experience, increase user engagement, and drive growth. You will collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, UX/UI designers, and data analysts to prioritize initiatives, define requirements, and deliver results that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Vision:
- Develop and articulate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital e-commerce experiences, aligning with business goals and customer needs.
- Customer-Centric Solutions:
- Identify customer pain points and opportunities through data analysis, user research, and market trends to create intuitive and impactful product features.
- End-to-End Product Lifecycle Management:
- Own the entire product lifecycle from ideation, requirements gathering, development, launch, and post-launch optimization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of product initiatives. Drive alignment and ensure timely delivery of features.
- Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Analyze data from various sources (customer feedback, A/B testing, analytics tools) to make informed decisions and continuously improve the product.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the main point of contact for product-related updates, ensuring all stakeholders are informed on progress, timelines, and potential risks.
- Prioritization:
- Manage and prioritize a product backlog, balancing customer needs with business goals, technical feasibility, and resource constraints.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to help inform product strategies and drive innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 3-5+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the digital e-commerce or retail space.
- Proven track record of delivering successful digital products and features in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, UX/UI principles, and web/mobile technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on data and customer insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Amplitude, or similar platforms.
