Job Description:
The AR Administrator would be responsible for various activities in the billing department, including data entry, information verification and bill generation. They will aid in the investigation of billing discrepancies and errors and communicate with other team members to correct issues.
Responsibilities:
• Create invoices, ensuring that additional charges, such as shipping costs, are included on invoices
• Ensure accuracy of every invoice sent out
• Resolve billing errors that other staff or customer’s flag
• Keep a record of collected payments with customer information
• Perform any necessary administrative duties, such as auditing customer records
• Prepare account statements for customers
• Follow up on outstanding payments
Qualifications
Education:
· High school diploma or GED.
· An associate or bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is an asset
RelevantExperience:
· 1-2 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable or Invoicing
· Knowledge of US Sales Tax filing is an asset
Skills & Competencies:
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Understanding of basic accounting
· Strong attention to detail
· Solid organizational skills to keep track of invoices
· Great customer service skills to work with various clients
· General administrative skills
· Knowledge of local and federal tax codes
