As an Inside Freight Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities and fostering strong client relationships. You will engage in cold calling, plan and execute call campaigns, and deliver compelling presentations. Once a sale is secured, you will train clients on our Transportation Management System, troubleshoot issues, and manage accounts to ensure client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive cold calling and internet research.
- Client Engagement: Conduct client presentations via web demonstrations and build strong relationships with clients.
- Training & Support: Onboard new clients with our Transportation Management System and offer ongoing support to resolve issues and maintain satisfaction.
- Account Management: Oversee account management tasks, including troubleshooting, receivables management, and fostering long-term relationships with clients.
What We're Looking For
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Communication Skills: Ability to understand and convey information clearly in written and verbal formats; comfortable presenting information to individuals and small groups.
- Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic and the ability to work with rates, ratios, and percentages.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to follow instructions and solve problems involving multiple variables.
- Computer Skills: Familiarity with database software, internet applications, order processing systems, and basic spreadsheet and word processing tools.
