Position Details:
The Customer Service Representative (Life & Health) provides the team with support, training, and service to help the department maximize its potential.
PLEASE NOTE:
- The person must reside in the state of Florida (and have his/her Life & Health license be held in Florida).
- This licensed position is with ALKEME Insurance's Agency Partner, Summit Insurance Group, who is based out of Coral Springs, Florida.
- Summit Insurance Group is a high-volume "Florida Blue" Agency, who is dedicated to providing its team with amazing tools, relentless support, and coverage education.
As a licensed remote Customer Service Representative (CSR), you will be the point of contact for the agency’s customer service calls. The CSR will help with tasks like: taking/applying payments, answering billing and invoicing questions, making policy changes, aiding with Provider searches, and issuing temporary identification (ID) cards. Overall, the CSR helps our top-caliber sales team ensure that the clients receive world-class service!
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones with a polite and professional manner
- Complete proposals in coordination with Sale Agents, submits applications, and handles data entry in agency CRM.
- Assist current customers including but not limited to processing payments from time to time, making changes to existing polices, providing help with provider search, drug analysis, etc.
- Assist the sales team to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.
- Maintain client relationships with follow up phone calls.
- Manage and maintain a positive office environment and perform any other office related tasks.
- Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including Dental, Accidental ancillaries (i.e., commissions are available for any sales completed by the CSR).
Requirements:
- Display an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude• Currently hold a valid Life & Health Insurance License 2-15
- Have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the Life & Health insurance industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (e.g., Excel, Outlooks, Word, etc.).
- Have a proven record of accomplishment of dependability & reliability.
- Bring a self-starter attitude with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to answer prospective client's questions efficiently and effectively.
- Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
- Ability to multi-task, follow-thru, and follow-up on tasks.
- Display excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Compensation: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
