Biztalk Developer (3) (Nearshore or Onshore)
Location: Remote in EST or CST is ok, but candidate's that are willing to relocate to South Florida will receive top priority.
Overview
We are seeking a skilled BizTalk Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft BizTalk Server and a strong background in designing, developing, and deploying integration solutions that improve business processes and data flows.
Responsibilities
- Integration Development: Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using Microsoft BizTalk Server to connect various systems and applications.
- Business Process Automation: Automate business processes by creating and managing BizTalk orchestration and business rules.
- Customization: Customize and extend BizTalk Server functionality through custom pipelines, adapters, and maps.
- Troubleshooting: Identify, analyze, and resolve integration issues and performance problems in a timely manner.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the BizTalk integration solutions, including technical specifications, design documents, and operational procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other IT professionals to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Testing: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing to ensure solutions meet quality standards and functional requirements.
- Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for BizTalk applications, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and performance tuning.
- Upgrade and Migration: Assist in upgrading and migrating BizTalk Server environments to newer versions or different platforms as needed.
Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience as a BizTalk Developer with hands-on experience in developing and managing BizTalk Server solutions.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of BizTalk Server architecture, components, and features.
- Proficiency in designing and developing BizTalk solutions including orchestrations, maps, schemas, and adapters.
- Experience with other Microsoft technologies such as SQL Server, .NET Framework, and Azure integration services.
- Familiarity with web services (SOAP/REST), XML, XSLT, and messaging patterns.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive working environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Azure Logic Apps or other cloud-based integration services.
- Knowledge of enterprise service bus (ESB) and business process management (BPM) concepts.
- Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies.
