Title: Pharmacy Analytics Consultant, Employee Benefits
Location: 100% REMOTE
Compensation: Dependent upon experience (bonus eligible) + holistic benefits package
Summary:
Our client, a Top 10 Employee Benefits Broker, is seeking has a need for an experienced Pharmacy Analytics Consultant to join their team national Employee Benefits division. This position is open due to growth. You will be responsible for working with data and underwriting teams to obtain and analyzing quotes, financial terms, and analyzing information to make coverage recommendations for clients.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial performance reports, analysis & recommendations prepared by financial benefits analyst and prepares financial presentation, along with insights for clients.
- Reviews monthly reporting deliverables and presents to clients.
- Full working knowledge of PBM pricing, contract language and financial modeling of a pharmacy benefits proposal.
- Ability to negotiate pharmacy coverage with client partners.
- Demonstrate a strong working understanding of industry trends and product offerings.
- Finalize and present data, market exhibits and opportunities for plan design and product changes, based upon observed utilization patterns for clients.
- Reviews financial risk for clients, performs monthly cost variance analysis to balance the actual historical loss ratio, etc.
- Produce deliverables timely, accurately, and in compliance with company standards.
- Reviews clients’ insurance plans to forecast future savings, price alternative plans designs, and assist in presentations to clients.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) industry
- Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, v-look ups, etc.)
- 5+ yrs of underwriting and benefit financial experience; required
The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
