Job Title: Application Architect with Dynamics D365 Exp/System administrator
Job Location: Burbank CA (Onsite)
- As a Microsoft Dynamics D365 Certified Support Specialist (Tier III), you will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of retail point-of-sale (POS) systems and warehouse hardware. Your role involves maintaining hardware and software components, providing technical support, and contributing to a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
System Configuration and Maintenance:
- Configure and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, ensuring optimal performance.
- Implement system upgrades and patches to keep the environment secure and up to date.
- Configure D365 custom solutions and scripting.
- Manage Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations WMS and eComm Fulfillment.
- Utilize MSD365 architecture, data model, data entities, and custom entities.
Point of Sale (POS):
- Activate and configure POS devices within Dynamics 365.
- Manage and configure mobile POS systems.
User Support:
- Support configuration and reporting for PO orders.
- Troubleshoot Store Commerce issues and provide warehouse management support.
- Offer expert guidance on optimizing operational engagement and provide technical assistance to end-users.
- Collaborate with the IT support team for efficient issue resolution.
Monitoring and Performance Tuning:
- Monitor and resolve Microsoft 365 alerts.
- Conduct regular system performance assessments and implement tuning strategies.
Integration and Data Management:
- Support integration with Finance and SAP interfaces and eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify).
- Facilitate data integration and migration processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Develop custom APIs and integrations using Microsoft technologies (Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, .NET, X++).
- Experience with middleware platforms (e.g., Azure Integration Services, SSIS).
Security and Access Control:
- Implement and manage security policies to protect data integrity.
- Administer user roles and permissions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and OKTA.
Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, customizations, and procedures.
- Create user guides and training materials as necessary.
Collaboration:
- Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure successful implementation and operation of Microsoft Dynamics solutions.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Expertise:
- Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture and Commerce.
- Proficiency in configuring and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with security administration and access control in Microsoft Dynamics.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and data management in Microsoft Dynamics.
Autonomous and Team Work:
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Documentation Skills:
- Ability to document and describe situations and resolutions effectively.
